At Play Street Museum, we offer much more than just a play place. We take the traditional children's museum model to the next level by providing unique educational experiences in your local neighborhood. Each of our museum exhibits not only offer interactive learning opportunities, but also provide engaging environments and fully immersive entertainment for your little ones. With daily playtime sessions by reservation, kids have the chance to develop social skills through play. They can explore their interests at the rotating Discovery Rug exhibit and nurture their creativity at the art exploration station. Sensory play is also emphasized, whether it's through a visit to our custom slime lab or by taking a sensory kit to continue the fun and learning at home.

Monthly Themes, Events, and More!

But that's not all! At Play Street Museum, we go beyond regular playtime activities. We have monthly themes centered around notable figures, unique holidays, interesting cultures, and more. We even have special Night at the Museum activities when we stay open late during the week. On the weekend you can find a fun event to attend featuring activities like pottery and canvas painting or dino digs and space exploration, to name a few. We are confident your young ones will find plenty of things to spark their interest, and we believe you will find each trip to Play Street Museum is engaging and insightful.

Admission

Admission is $16 per child ages 1-8. Older & younger children are free if accompanied by a paying sibling. Older children are welcome to play along but must play in a calm and respectful manner. If a child under the age of 1 is attending without any siblings, they will be required to pay the regular admission fee.
Parents and guardians are free.

Reservations: Play Street Museum Leawood is offering Playtime by Reservation Monday-Friday. To be guaranteed a spot, please reserve a spot by clicking the button above.
Flexible Entry: As long as space permits, join a session at the beginning or anytime throughout.
Play Session Availability: Weekday session times are: 8:30-10:00, 10:30-12:00, 12:30-2:00, 2:30-4:00, 4:30-6:00. Weekend session times will vary based on availability.
Cleaning & Safety: Our Playtime by Reservation ensures a safe environment with regular, thorough sanitization between sessions.
Waiver: Parents or guardians must sign a waiver for each child before entering the play space.
Parental Supervision: Please note that we are not a drop-off center or childcare facility. Parents and caregivers must stay in the play space and supervise their children at all times.
No Strollers: We kindly ask that strollers remain outside of the play area. We have lots of cubbies for your belongings, but limited stroller parking. Please help us create space for all of our guests when you come by placing your items in a cubby.
Baby Friendly: Our restroom is outfitted with a baby changing station. Please change all diapers in the restroom.
Stay Connected: We have free WiFi!
Food Policy: Food is not allowed to be brought in during Playtime by Reservation sessions. If you'd like to celebrate a birthday or special occasion with food, please book a private party package.
Beverages Permitted: Outside drinks with lids for children and adults are permitted and encouraged. Bring in your favorite drink and relax for a few!
Crafts: Crafts can be added onto play sessions during booking or in-person during your play session. We have several craft options available including our Slime Lab, Canvas Painting, Pottery, Dip Dye, and Bracelet & Necklace Making.
Gift Shop: We have an amazing curated gift shop open during business hours 7 days a week.
Respectful Play: We reserve the right to ask children that are being disruptive to leave if they are interfering with the learning & play of others.
Service animals: For the safety and comfort of all guests, only trained service animals are permitted inside the museum. Emotional support animals, therapy animals, and pets are not allowed. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
